The RM of Wise Creek No. 77 has officially declared a State of Emergency of Agricultural Disaster within the boundaries of the rural municipality due to the extreme drought conditions, the infestations of  grasshoppers and  gophers.  The  lack of moisture, severe heat, wind and pests have caused  crop failures in our municipality as well as lack of feed for the livestock producers.  The producers in our RM are in desperate need of financial assistance to help get through these extremely difficult times.
